Our beginnings

More than 50 years ago, in the busy streets of Binondo, Ultra Mega began as a small family business called LBT Trading. Selling simple goods like cosmetics and school supplies, a family of nine worked side by side, driven by sipag, tiyaga, and a big dream.

In 1996, that dream grew bigger. Ultra Mega launched its first supermarket, bringing low prices and real value to both businesses and households.

From a few stores in the 1990s, Ultra Mega has grown to serve in more than 40 cities and municipalities

But one thing hasn’t changed. At its core, Ultra Mega is driven by the same values it started with—hard work, passion, and a deep understanding of the Filipino consumer. Our people are committed to delivering quality products, reliable supply, and service that truly supports everyday needs and business growth.
